Founded 1993 in Harrogate. In early 2002, the operation moved to the current address. the Outlaw brand is used for experimental beers. As it is often difficult to be sure which brand has been used for some beers, the Outlaw and Rooster brands are not differentiated here.

Rooster's beers tend to be very distinctively hoppy. Many people love them, I have to admit I hate them, probably because of that hoppiness.
