Full details for Hardy's & Hanson's
Formed 1931 by the merger of Hardy's brewery with Hanson's. Most beers were until 2003 branded "Kimberley", but they have now been re-branded under the H&H name.
Braille menus are available in all H&H's pubs.
Taken over by Greene King in 2006, with GK claiming that no decision had been made about the future of the brewery. Needless to say, as soon as the takeover was completed, the closure of the Nottingham brewery was announced. The final brew took place in December 2006.Described by the first edition of the Good Beer Guide as selling 'Prize-winning beer - usually reliable.'
